Security Operations Center Analyst

Description:

Assists in securing and monitoring the company's IT Assets. To monitor if there are threats or attacks to any
resource in different IT environments. As part of the Security Operations Center Unit under the IT Operations
Department, he/she shall display a persistent attitude to inform Stakeholders and other units of IT Operations
such as Systems Administration, Database Administration, Network Administration about any security threat incidents
and push for its resolution or remediation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses and configures information security tools and technologies such as but not limited to Endpoint Protection System (EPS), Security Incident and Event Management System (SIEM), Transport Encryption, Data Encryption, IP Tables, Host/Network Firewalls, Security Groups, Network Access Control List (NACL) to protect the company's IT Assets.
• Analyzes dashboards to monitor and detect attacks and threats to IT Assets in both the Cloud or on-premise environments.
• Assists the Information Security Analyst and other members of the Information Technology Department to analyze and provide remediation to Information Security related incidents.
• Reports any deviation or violation to the Information Security Policies and Procedures
• Adheres to the guidelines for monitoring and notification of information security threats and attack

Qualifications:

• College graduate of IT related courses
• At least 3 years relevant work experience
• Knowledge in IT security and protection
