About the Role
We are looking for an experienced **Security Engineer specializing in SIEM and SOAR** to join a cybersecurity team at the Associate Manager level.
In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, optimization, and transformation of enterprise-scale security monitoring and automation capabilities. You will work closely with cybersecurity teams and stakeholders to improve threat detection, incident response, automation, and overall security operations.

Key Responsibilities
Security Engineering Leadership
* Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale SIEM and SOAR solutions.
* Define security monitoring strategies, detection roadmaps, and automation initiatives.
* Establish security engineering standards, operational processes, and governance models.
* Oversee complex integrations across cloud, endpoint, identity, network, and other security technologies.
* Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across multiple security engineering initiatives.
### Security Operations Transformation
* Drive automation initiatives to improve detection coverage, incident response time, and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with SOC leadership, threat hunting teams, and key stakeholders to mature security operations capabilities.
* Identify emerging threats and recommend improvements to detection and response strategies.
* Support security audit, compliance, risk management, and governance requirements.
* Develop and enhance use cases, detection rules, playbooks, and automation workflows.
### People and Delivery Leadership
* Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity engineering professionals.
* Manage project delivery, staffing, stakeholder engagement, and key communications.
* Ensure the successful delivery of security engineering projects and initiatives.
* Support capability building through coaching, training, and career development.
* Promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement across the team.
## Qualifications
* At least **5 to 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience**.
* Strong hands-on experience in **SIEM and/or SOAR engineering**.
* At least **2 to 3 years of experience in people management, supervision, or team leadership**.
* Proven experience delivering cybersecurity or security engineering projects.
* Experience working with stakeholders and supporting complex security engagements.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
## Technical Requirements
Strong expertise in one or more of the following SIEM platforms:
* Splunk
* Microsoft Sentinel
* Google SecOps
* QRadar
* ArcSight
Additional requirements:
* Experience leading or supporting security automation and SOAR programs.
* Strong scripting and automation skills using **Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash**.
* Advanced knowledge of **MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS Controls, threat detection, and incident response methodologies**.
* Experience with cloud security and enterprise security architecture.
* Strong understanding of security operations and modern cybersecurity technologies.
Additional Requirements
* Must currently be based in the Philippines and have the legal right to live and work in the country.
* Must be willing to work in a **hybrid setup in Cubao**.
* Must be amenable to a **shifting work schedule**.
