Basic Functions
The
[Security Engineer I Security Operations] will help RX with its journey on becoming more resilient against cyberthreats through implementing and managing security solutions and practices; and responding to/remediating security incidents.
Accountabilities
- Facilitator, point-of-contact, audience, contributor, or assignee of projects / initiatives / processes / tasks (mostly internal to the team)
- An expert to at least 2 core services provided by the team
- Respond to various security-related alerts, reports, and tickets, such as phishing, malware, etc. - this may cover investigation, recommendation, or resolution
- Prepares reporting materials in relation to security posture, etc.
- Engages with different teams / stakeholders in any discussion about security
- Provides either technical or non-technical recommendations and/or solutions to further streamline processes / procedures
- Continuously invest in his/her technical developments
Qualifications
Mandatory
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level systems
- solid working knowledge about networking and operating system fundamentals
- Strong understanding of common security concepts, terminologies, and frameworks
- familiarity on different enterprise security programs, such as vulnerability management, compliance, etc.
- ability to work with minimal, to no supervision in a fast-phased, ever-changing environment
- Experience in creating and preparing reports/process documents using Microsoft Office suite, etc.
- Has an output-driven mindset
- Has an eye for detail, and ability to spot patterns
- Has a strong drive for self-development.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives
Good to have
- Entry-level industry certifications, such as ITIL Foundation, Microsoft's MTA, CompTIA Network+, or any similar certification
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender (MDE, MDI, MDO).
- 2-3 years hands-on experience using IT service management tools, such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.
- Familiar with AI tools usage such as ChatGPT, Copilot Studio, Power Automate and Power Bi.
- Basic knowledge with AWS, Entra ID, DLP Purview, Sentinel and Azure.
