Security Engineer

Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve ensuring the security of information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to build knowledge and support the team. - Participate in problem-solving discussions. - Implement security measures to protect systems, applications, and data. - Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing. - Develop and implement security policies and procedures. - Monitor and respond to security incidents. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns. - Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies. - Assist in the development and execution of security awareness programs. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Security Operations Management. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Experience in conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing. - Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). - Familiarity with security tools and technologies. - Experience in incident response and handling. - Understanding of network security protocols and technologies. - Knowledge of cloud security and virtualization technologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have less than 1 year of experience in Security Operations Management. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
