Job Description

  • Support Security Manager in the management of the Aviation Security Program in accordance with the Local Authorities/Regulators and UPS standards
  • Develop, implement and enforce security policies and procedures; Conduct Security investigations and present findings
  • Respond to internal and external customer and stakeholder security concerns
  • Aptitude to interact with authorities and regulators, leveraging on an established security background and strategic partnerships
  • Manage team including Facility Security Coordinators, Specialist, and Vendor Staff - Security Officers and guards
  • Capability to meet its functional peers, deal with pressure and demands of Hub and Gateway operators, being challenged on satisfying own deliverables

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Ideally with a minimum of 3 years experience in the transportation/airline industry
  • At least 5 years of people management skills is an advantage
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma preferred
  • Possesses good communication and comprehension skills
  • Able to work with all levels of employee hierarchy, Vendors, and external stakeholders (Appropriate Authorities / Regulators, Law Enforcement, Customers)
  • Must be able to travel, work the night shift and have flexible hours
  • Capable of developing and implementing projects and programs
  • With proven decision-making, problem-solving, analytical skills
  • Requires demonstrated skills in MS Word and Excel, with PowerPoint as a plus
