Security Architect

Overview

The Cloud Security Architect II will be responsible for designing and securing cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, primarily within Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on implementing strong security architecture principles aligned with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, CSA) and Zero Trust models.

This position works closely with engineering, platform, and security teams to ensure secure cloud adoption, protect data, reduce risks, and maintain compliance with organizational security standards. It also involves defining security patterns, guiding best practices, and ensuring cloud workloads are resilient against evolving threats.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in cloud security architecture or related roles
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure security (IaaS, PaaS, IAM, network security, secrets management)
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles (Zero Trust, least privilege, defense-in-depth, data protection)
• Experience with security frameworks such as CSA CCM and NIST
• Knowledge of CSPM, CWPP, and data protection/DLP concepts
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and drive security decisions
