JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role demands meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. You will be expected to perform the responsibilities of a supervisor capably, while also handling more complex tasks as needed. Your assignments will vary widely and are supervised by experienced professionals.
Your performance will be evaluated based on work quality, application of IT knowledge, and ability to meet deadlines.
Essential Functions include:
- Meet deadlines and client time constraints effectively.
- Participate in planning and scheduling client engagements.
- Prepare routine correspondence for clients, and draft comments for management letters, subject to partner approval and signature.
- Possess working knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and general IT principles.
- Perform inspection of client workpapers to support audit objectives
- Demonstrate proficiency in running and interpreting spreadsheets.
- Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.
- Contribute ideas and opinions to client teams and respond constructively to team members inputs.
- Utilize technology to continuously learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
- Maintain an educational program for ongoing skill development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience Required:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HITRUST, SOC, ISO) is advantageous.
- Experience: Previous relevant experience in IT auditing, risk management, or IT security.
- Certifications: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) are strongly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with UNIX, Windows, Mainframe, network infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
