Job Description

CORE PROFILE

Security Administrator is responsible for managing and administrating the organization's security tools and systems, ensuring proper monitoring, configuration, and maintenance. This role ensures that security tools are operational, properly configured, and effectively detecting threats or vulnerabilities across the organization's infrastructure.

The administrator runs scans, analyzes tool-generated data, identifies risks, and escalates critical findings for remediation.

NATURE OF WORK

  • Manage, configure and maintain security tools (EDR,DLP,Qualys and others) to ensure they operate effectively.
  • Implement patches, updates and configuration changes to maintain tool effectiveness and system protection.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and monitor suspicious activity to identify potential risks.
  • Assist in the proof-of-concept, evaluation and implementation of new security solutions to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge in different Security tools (CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Qualys and others.
  • Vulnerability and Threat Management
  • Infrastructure Security knowledge such network, server and endpoint fundamentals

  • Vulnerabilities are identified quickly through scans and escalated promptly to ensure timely remediation.
  • Ensures new solutions integrate effectively to strengthen overall security posture.
  • Supports audits, compliance reporting and knowledge sharing within the team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant science, technical and engineering courses
  • 1-2 years of experience in information security or IT security administration
  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining security platforms such as EDR, DLP, vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience conducting vulnerability scans, monitoring alerts and supporting remediation activities.
  • Involved in infrastructure or security-related IT project implementation
  • Platform and Security Certifications is desirable
