Job Description

The Section Officer – Production is responsible for overseeing the operations of a specific production section, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. This role acts as a bridge between production staff and management, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily activities within the assigned production section
Ensure production targets are met according to schedule
Maintain product quality and adherence to company standards
Monitor compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational procedures (e.g., GMP, HACCP)
Guide and mentor production staff, providing on-the-job coaching
Assist in manpower allocation and scheduling for optimal efficiency
Document production output, incidents, and operational reports
Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to management
Coordinate with other departments (QA, Maintenance, Warehouse) for seamless operations
Address operational issues promptly and implement corrective actions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field preferred
At least 1–3 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations
Knowledge of production processes, food safety, and quality standards
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting schedule environment
