Section Manager Fruits and Vegetables (Quezon City)

Makro Philippines (CP Axtra AC Corporation) is looking for a Section Manager – Fruits and Vegetables who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the produce department to ensure product quality, availability, and profitability. This role leads the department team, maintains high merchandising standards, manages inventory, ensures compliance with food safety regulations, and delivers excellent customer service while achieving sales and operational targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Agriculture, Food Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in retail, supermarket, or produce operations.
• Experience in handling fresh fruits and vegetables, inventory management, and merchandising is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail inventory or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
