Section Manager - Fish (Quezon City)

Makro Philippines (CP Axtra AC Corporation) is looking for a Section Manager – Fish who is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fish and seafood section, ensuring product freshness, quality, food safety, and profitability. This role manages inventory, merchandising, staff performance, and customer service while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and achieving sales and operational targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Retail Management, Food Technology, Fisheries, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience in a retail supermarket, seafood market, or food retail environment.
• Experience in handling fresh fish and seafood products is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of seafood handling, cold chain management, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail inventory or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shifting hours.
