As a SecOps Engineer Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining the security of client systems. Within our Cybersecurity practice, you will focus on identifying vulnerabilities, developing secure systems, and providing proactive solutions to mitigate cyber threats. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to build meaningful client connections and navigate complex situations, fostering personal growth and technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and deliver quality solutions.

Responsibilities
- Managing cybersecurity incidents by identifying, analyzing, and resolving threats to minimize potential damage
- Developing and implementing secure systems to protect sensitive data and maintain client system security
- Utilizing cybersecurity frameworks and strategies to proactively address vulnerabilities and safeguard against future attacks
- Conducting digital forensics and network forensics to investigate and remediate security incidents
- Collaborating with clients to build meaningful connections and understand their cybersecurity needs
- Applying analytical thinking and critical problem-solving skills to navigate complex cybersecurity challenges
- Leading efforts in cybersecurity threat mitigation and vulnerability management to enhance security posture
- Engaging in continuous learning and reflection to deepen technical skills and adapt to changing business contexts
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Monitoring SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence dashboards to detect advanced threat patterns and conduct deep-dive investigations, escalating to L3 analysts as needed.
- Performing daily health checks on security scanners, credential status, asset discovery, SLA compliance, and manage remediation ticket queues and inbound security communications.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of operations, incidents, and platform changes, while collaborating with cybersecurity architects, platform engineers, and client SMEs to resolve systemic security issues.
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 to 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in SOC, VM, IAM, or SecOps operations
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, VM tools, IAM platforms
- Proficient in creating detection logic, correlation rules, and performing threat analysis
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to incident response and cyber defense, including GIAC (eg., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent incident response credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in Cybersecurity Threat Mitigation and Incident Management
- Utilizing advanced skills in Digital Forensics and Network Forensics
- Excelling in Security Operations Center (SOC) management and threat detection
