Role Description The Secondary Mathematics Teacher is a full-time, on-site position based at The British School Manila in Makati. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Mathematics lessons across the secondary school, aligned with the British curriculum and school policies. Responsibilities include differentiating instruction to support a range of learning needs, using data to monitor student progress, and providing regular feedback to learners and families. The teacher collaborates with colleagues on curriculum development, contributes to departmental initiatives, and participates in school meetings, professional learning, and co-curricular activities. The role also requires maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment and promoting the school's values and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and proven expertise in Mathematics Education.
Demonstrated ability in effective Lesson Planning and designing curriculum-aligned learning experiences.
Recognized status as a Qualified Teacher with appropriate teaching certification or licensure.
Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, engaging families, and supporting students.
Relevant degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
Experience teaching secondary-level Mathematics, preferably within a British or international school context.
Competence in using educational technology to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment.
Commitment to inclusion, student wellbeing, and ongoing professional development.
