Objectives of this Role
The Seasoned HR Generalist will support the success of offshore contractors by overseeing onboarding, performance management, coaching, engagement initiatives, contractor support, and accountability measures. This role serves as a key point of contact between clients and offshore contractors, helping ensure strong utilization, retention, productivity, continuous development, and overall team success.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and offshore contractors, helping address communication challenges and facilitating successful working relationships.
- Provide contractor integration support, including onboarding assistance, onboarding templates, 30-60-90 day planning, and software setup guidance.
- Monitor contractor utilization, attendance, productivity, and engagement to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Implement accountability measures and proactively identify potential performance, attendance, or engagement concerns.
- Apply a trust but verify approach when reviewing contractor activity, availability, and reported challenges.
- Conduct regular check-ins with contractors to identify obstacles, provide support, and improve retention.
- Lead performance management initiatives by conducting coaching conversations, tracking performance, documenting concerns, and partnering with clients to develop and execute performance improvement plans when needed.
- Coach contractors to improve performance, accountability, communication, and professional growth through regular feedback and development conversations.
- Assist in conflict resolution and problem-solving between clients and contractors to ensure timely and effective outcomes.
- Ensure client and contractor concerns are addressed promptly, with responses provided within 24 hours.
- Provide ongoing contractor support and guidance to help maintain productivity, accountability, and engagement.
- Prepare and deliver monthly client reports, including utilization metrics, attendance trends, engagement insights, contractor feedback, and key recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and contractor-related reports within company systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist, Contractor Success, People Operations, or similar role.
- Previous experience in a staffing, outsourcing, recruitment, or talent agency environment is required.
- Demonstrated experience coaching employees or contractors, managing performance, driving accountability, and handling workplace concerns in a remote environment.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and feedback skills, with the ability to influence performance improvement through constructive conversations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience supporting remote teams and managing accountability.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Hubstaff, including monitoring utilization and attendance.
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and other remote collaboration tools.
