ROLE PURPOSE
The SEO Manager is a senior, hands-on role responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and performance of SEO, GEO, and AEO programmes for LeapOut clients across multiple markets.
You will act as the pod lead — owning the keyword universe, GEO prompt set, content prioritisation, and the client relationship for retained accounts. You will lead a delivery pod (Content Specialist, Technical SEO Specialist, and Web Developer reporting into your direction), face the client on bi-weekly strategy calls and Quarterly Business Reviews, and write the monthly executive summary that goes to the CEO/CMO of every account in your portfolio.
This is a player-coach role, not a delegation role. You write the brief, you run the meeting, you ship the report. You blend strategic thinking, commercial accountability, and strong client service — while mentoring junior team members and reinforcing LeapOut's playbook standards across the pod.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SEO Strategy, Planning & Execution
- Own the keyword universe, GEO prompt set, and content roadmap for every account in your portfolio
- Translate business goals into 12-month SEO/GEO/AEO programmes with measurable revenue, ranking, and citation outcomes
- Prioritise monthly content briefs, on-page rebuilds, and technical fixes against commercial impact, not vanity volume
- Defend every priority with data — SEMrush, GSC, GA4, Shopify Sidekick, AI citation tracking
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Own the live Looker Studio dashboard for every retained account
- Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for each client
- Deliver the monthly executive summary — one page, three minutes to read, one strategic recommendation
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in reporting and documentation across the portfolio
Pod Leadership & Quality Control
- Lead pod (Content, Technical SEO, Web Dev) — keep them unblocked and aligned
- Ensure deliverables comply with internal QA processes, ship rules, and LeapOut playbook standards
- Mentor junior team members on SEO craft, client communication, and reporting quality
- Maintain delivery discipline across multiple accounts and competing deadlines
Process, Tools & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, briefs, content production, and reporting
- Stay current on Google algorithm updates, AI search developments (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews), and Shopify platform changes
- Champion best practices in SEO, GEO, AEO, and AI-augmented content production
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SEO & GEO Programme Leadership
- Own the keyword universe, GEO prompt set, and ranking/citation tracking across the portfolio
- Brief Content Specialists on every long-form piece, on-page rebuild, and FAQ deployment
- Hand off schema specifications and technical priorities to Web Developers with clear acceptance criteria
- Run the monthly audit review with the Technical SEO Specialist and set the month's priorities
Account & Project Management
- Oversee internal briefings and task alignment across the pod
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional deliverables
- Ensure every shipped output meets quality, scope, and client expectations
- Coordinate with US, AU, UK, and PH stakeholders on expectations and deadlines
Client Service Excellence
- Lead bi-weekly strategy meetings with the client marketing lead
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with client leadership (Managing Partner present)
- Align programmes to clearly defined, trackable business goals — organic revenue, AI citation rate, ranked keyword count
- Open renewal conversations in Month 9, not Month 12
- Coach junior team members on delivering high-quality client service

REQUIREMENTS
- Based in the Philippines (hybrid setup — 1–2 WFH days/week, the rest at our Ortigas HQ)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of SEO experience, with at least 2 years leading client engagements end-to-end
- Demonstrable revenue impact — you can speak to specific accounts where your SEO work moved the commercial number
- Hands-on Shopify experience preferred — agency or in-house
- Fluency with SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, and Looker Studio
- A working understanding of GEO and AEO — schema, AI citation tracking, and content structured for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and AI Overviews
- Willingness to work overlapping shifts with US, AU, or UK business hours as required
COMPENSATION
- ₱45,000 – ₱80,000/month, calibrated to experience
- Performance bonus structure
