Job Summary
Combines Agile delivery leadership with hands-on technical direction for infrastructure and architecture. The role supports team flow, manages cross-team dependencies, and guides architecture, cloud, integration, security, and operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives, and program planning activities.
- Track dependencies, risks, decisions, and impediments across teams and follow through to closure.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and related teams to maintain clear delivery priorities and progress.
- Define and communicate architecture decisions, non-functional requirements, and technical standards.
- Guide event-driven, API, cloud, infrastructure, integration, security, and observability designs.
- Review solution designs and Infrastructure as Code for alignment, resilience, and maintainability.
- Support technical issue escalation and help teams make timely, traceable decisions.
- Coach teams on continuous improvement, delivery discipline, and sound engineering practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role.
- Experience leading infrastructure, cloud, integration, or solution architecture decisions.
- Knowledge of Scrum and scaled Agile practices, including program planning and cross-team coordination.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with architecture decision records, non-functional requirements, security, and operational governance.
- Ability to facilitate discussions, manage conflicts, remove blockers, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, API governance, and event bus technologies.
- Experience supporting platform engineering or enterprise integration teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to perform both responsibilities within the agreed split allocation.
- Certification in Scrum, SAFe, cloud, or architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, automation platforms, and continuous delivery practices.
Other Notes
- This is one combined position with a planned 50% allocation to Scrum Master duties and 50% to Technical Lead duties.
- The successful candidate must be able to operate at both team and cross-team level and act as the escalation point for architecture and systemic quality matters.
