Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa

Mode of Hiring: Full time Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a technical Scrum master on client's Digital Acceleration (DITAC) team, you will work within a team environment to deliver full stack solutions that execute DITAC priorities and initiatives. Primary responsibilities include ensuring that development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate scrum events including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives.
• Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
• Coordinates communications, escalates and facilitates the resolution of risks, issues and changes.
• Coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality
• Removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams
• Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
• Leading, training, and coaching the organization in its Scrum adoption
• Work closely with the product owner to understand requirements and scope work.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best of breed technology, patterns, and methodologies.
• Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, and close collaboration.

Core Qualifications and Education:

• Having 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role in software/cloud applications.
• Certified Scrum Master
• Have a good understanding of various aspects of software development processes and procedures
• Collaborative mindset, with an ability to empathize with colleagues and establish relationships
• Experienced using Azure DevOps.
• Some background and experience in using .NET, React and SQL technology preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with others.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.
• Any prior software development or testing experience (Frontend, Backend and embedded system) is a plus.
