Role Description The Scrum Master II – Start ASAP role is a contract position based in Makati with a hybrid work setup, combining on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The Scrum Master II will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the team delivers consistently and efficiently. This role coordinates with product owners and development teams to refine and manage user stories, remove impediments, and optimize team workflows. The Scrum Master II will monitor sprint progress, track key metrics, and promote agile best practices, coaching team members on Scrum principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Sprint Planning and backlog management to support effective iteration delivery.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify blockers, and improve team performance.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess experience working with User Stories, including refinement, estimation, and acceptance criteria.
- Candidates should possess a good understanding of Software Development processes and agile methodologies.
- Professional experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably at an intermediate or advanced level.
- Relevant certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Makati, managing both on-site and remote collaboration.
- Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional agile teams and delivering projects in a technology or software setting.
