Scrum Master (FinTech)

The Scrum Master ensures the team follows Agile values and principles while effectively facilitating the Scrum process. Serving as a servant-leader, the role supports Scrum maturity, helps the team meet its commitments, and fosters a collaborative, productive environment. The Scrum Master partners closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to maintain a healthy backlog, remove impediments, and drive successful project delivery through Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement Agile ceremonies and principles to support the squad's Scrum maturity
• Lead and coach the team in Scrum implementation and Agile practices
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
• Build a trusting atmosphere for open communication and problem-solving
• Remove obstacles to team efficiency and ensure adherence to Agile processes
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to maintain a well-groomed product backlog
• Monitor team performance metrics and ensure quality standards are met
• Define and manage project scope, schedule, and resources
• Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders for successful project delivery
  
  

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master managing Scrum teams
• At least 2 years of project management experience with medium to complex projects
• Proficiency in Jira and other Agile project management tools
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in stakeholder and vendor management
• Experience in coaching teams on Agile methodologies
• Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and self-management
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills to track and report on team performance metrics
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Product Owner (CPO), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
