Job Summary:
The role involves comprehensive analysis of the end-to-end EPC procurement plan, ensuring alignment with project timelines, critical paths, and inventory requirements. It includes validating PMC reports through visual documentation, third-party inputs, and on-site monitoring to ensure production efficiency. The position also provides support for local sourcing of non-EPC items and serves as the main Supply Chain Management point of contact.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Monitoring Report Delivery
- Prepare and present weekly / monthly procurement reports based on the progress of critical long lead items from Planning – Purchasing – Manufacture – Testing – Shipping – Port Release – Storage – Warranties - Payment
- Highlight leading indicators the translate to delivery / supply impact against project plan
- Highlight risks and possible mitigation actions for delayed items, support EPC if necessary from local contacts and resources
Customs Duties Incentive Entitlements
- Develop the estimated duties incentives and implement to target
- Manage customs/duty free incentives paperwork to ensure entitlements are availed accordingly for the imports
Local Sourcing
- Support non-project procurement items to be delivered on time
- Oversight on communications with insurance brokers for shipment inspections
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related course
Job Related Experience:
- With at least five (5) years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Logistics
- Experience in construction industry is an advantage
- Experience with Chinese EPC Contractors
Specific Knowledge/Ability/Certifications:
- End to end procurement process
- Importation process and Incoterms
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Material Testing processes (for manufacture of industrial equipment)
- Must be amenable to work either in Rizal or Laguna
