Science Laboratory Technician

The Services required are setout as follows:

a) Assist in the daily operations of the assignedscience laboratories, science gardens, aquaponics, hydroponics and pond.

b) Responsible for the setup, clean up and generalmaintenance of the science laboratories and Science Areas.

c) Responsible for the cleanliness of the RecyclingCorner.

d) Assist in preparation of laboratory apparatus,equipment and teaching materials for scheduled laboratory activities.

e) Assist in stock taking exercise and maintenance ofequipment.

f) Typing of worksheets and notes.

g) Supporting and assisting in departmental events,activities and programmes.

h) Any other duties assigned by the School.

The Personnel should preferablyhave the following qualifications, skills and experience:

a) Able to make use of Microsoft word / excelspreadsheet and PowerPoint

b) Able to operate electronic devices eg. hydroponicssets, aquaponics and other devices relating to Science

c) To be able to do gardening (weeding, planting andwatering)

d) Preferably with more than 2 years of relevantexperience in a similar position and in a school environment
