Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a School Nurse based in Sta. Cruz. The School Nurse will provide primary healthcare services to students, staff, and faculty, including health assessments, first aid, and medical care for minor illnesses and injuries. The role involves developing and implementing health programs that focus on prevention and education, maintaining accurate medical records, and fostering a safe and healthy school environment. The School Nurse will also collaborate with school administrators and parents to address student health needs and provide referrals to external healthcare providers when necessary.

Qualifications

• Expertise in School Nursing and School Health practices
• Professional knowledge in Medicine and Nursing, with applicable licenses
• Specialized experience in Pediatrics or managing child health services
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to design and implement health education and wellness programs
• Organizational and administrative skills for maintaining medical records and coordinating health initiatives
• Previous experience in a school setting or related healthcare role is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, with appropriate licensure
