Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid licensure
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred but not required
• BLS and/or CPR certification preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge in pediatric nursing and first aid.
• Adept at health education and preventative care.
• Ability to handle medical emergencies with calmness and efficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Providing health care to students and staff as needed.
• Creating care plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Keeping track of student medical files and maintaining accurate records.
• Providing health education and resources to students.
• Administering medication and treatments safely and diligently.
• Liaising with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure overall student health and welfare.
• Knowledgeable in School projects - Fire drill, Earthquake drill, Bloodletting etc.
