Job Description

Role Title: School Cashier

Job Description
  • Responsible for processing and receiving payment and issuing receipts to students/parents/guardians.
  • Deposit the daily collection and update bank passbook.
  • Prepare daily collection report.
  • Issue Statement of Accounts (SOA) to students/parents/guardians.
  • Make follow-ups as necessary for those past due accounts.
  • Handle Petty Cash Fund (PCF) / Marketing Fund.
  • Monitor inventory of school other assets such as uniforms, ID lace, etc.
  • Prepare reports related to account receivable of students/parents/guardians as necessary.
  • May handle concerns/queries from students/parents/guardians about their O/S balances and payments.

Minimum Qualifications
Educational Background:
. Any four-year course related to Business Administration/ Accounting
Experience:
. Open to entry-level candidates
. 1-3 years experience as cashier in any industry, it is plus if with school related experience
Technical Competencies:
. Experience using WELA or similar school software
. Experience in managing collections, resolving disputes and coordinating with
stakeholders to ensure timely payments.
. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, and Graphs)
Skills and Abilities:
. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
. Hardworking, organized, and able to manage multiple projects
. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
. Strong prioritization skills to effectively manage workload
. Critical thinking and sound judgment in decision-making
. Proactive and demonstrates a high level of initiative and responsibility
. Excellent oral and written communication skills
. General computer proficiency
Other Requirements:
. Flexible and adaptable to change
. Willing to work in Commonwealth, Quezon City
. Willing to work in a day shift and amenable to a shifting schedule
. Availability to start as soon as possible is preferred
