The Scholarships Project Support is an entry level project-based role (1 year contract) responsible for carrying out operational duties to facilitate effective management of scholarship support and enrichment opportunities to scholars. The position will facilitate the effective management of the program and to ensure that all scholars are adhering to the standards and procedures set by Ayala Foundation. The incumbent is also responsible in ensuring that donors are informed, updated, and engaged.
Program Management
- Provide support for the end-to-end assessment of students: from qualification to scholarships, enrichment sessions, until graduation
- Handle and monitor student applications including application process, screening and interviewing student applicants, confirming scholarship grants, and donor engagement and reports.
- Ensure that the scholars are the most qualified in terms of economic, leadership potential, and academic aspects
- Provide support for the onboarding of scholars
- Lead the effective management, organization, and compliance of all documentation required from or in coordination with scholars
- Oversee scholarship administration, including facilitating monthly allowance disbursements to scholars and/or tuition fee payments
- Liaise with the foundation's support groups to ensure the delivery of desired outputs and outcomes for scholars
- Conduct semestral meetings with scholars
- Gather information about the scholars for impact storytelling
- Plan and implement tracking system and program to monitor all scholars of the Foundation
Management of Donor and Partner Relations
- Contribute to the marketing efforts of the scholarship program to raise funds
- Provide information needed in donor reports or proposals
- Write and produce donor reports and updates
- Liaise with the foundation's support groups to ensure the delivery of desired outputs and outcomes for donors/partners
- Provide support in sustaining relationships with partners that provide enrichment opportunities for scholars
Scholar Alumni Management and Engagement
- Provide support in executing post-scholarship plans for alumni, including keeping them connected with the Foundation
- Coordinate with High Schools, Senior High Schools, Colleges and Universities for scholarship opportunities and widen network
- Monitor alumni movement after graduation and keep constant communication
- Work with the Ayala Group and other companies for potential employment opportunities
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Open to fresh graduates
- Preferably with 1 year of experience in social development work with understanding of multi-stakeholder collaboration to drive meaningful results
- Willing to work in Makati City on a hybrid work setup (at least 3x a week onsite)
- Willing to travel occasionally
