The Scaffolding Supervisor is directly responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient planning, erection, modification, inspection, tagging, use, and dismantling of scaffolds required for steel erection and related activities on the project.
He ensures that scaffold access is available when needed for column/beam erection support, flange welding, bolt-up access, inspections, and temporary work fronts without creating unsafe conditions or avoidable delay.
He serves as the focal person between Project Management, Safety/HSE, QA/QC, Lifting, Welding, Erection, Survey, Logistics, and scaffold crews.
