SCADA Warranty Coordinator
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Night Shift (PH Time)
Position Summary
The SCADA Warranty Coordinator is responsible for managing warranty support activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including SCADA systems, Power Plant Controllers (PPC), networking infrastructure, RTACs, servers, met stations, and associated field equipment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for warranty-related issues, coordinating between clients, internal engineering teams, field service personnel, and equipment vendors to ensure timely issue resolution while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate possesses strong project coordination skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Warranty Management
- Serve as the primary coordinator for all SCADA warranty claims and support requests.
- Receive, document, track, and manage warranty issues from initiation through closure.
- Verify warranty eligibility and determine applicable warranty coverage.
- Maintain warranty logs, issue tracking systems, and customer communication records.
- Monitor warranty response times and resolution metrics.
Client Coordination
- Act as the primary customer interface for warranty-related communications.
- Provide regular status updates to clients regarding open warranty items.
- Schedule troubleshooting sessions, remote support activities, and site visits.
- Facilitate resolution meetings with clients, engineering teams, and subcontractors as needed.
- Ensure customer concerns are addressed professionally and efficiently.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with SCADA engineers, controls engineers, network engineers, and field technicians.
- Gather and organize diagnostic information, logs, screenshots, and field reports.
- Assist in determining root causes of system issues.
- Coordinate corrective actions and track implementation through completion.
- Support commissioning and operations teams when warranty-related issues arise.
Vendor and Equipment Management
- Interface with equipment manufacturers and third-party vendors regarding warranty claims.
- Coordinate repair, replacement, and return material authorization (RMA) processes.
- Track replacement equipment shipments and return of defective components.
- Ensure loaner equipment processes are properly documented and managed.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of warranty events, corrective actions, and resolutions.
- Prepare warranty status reports for management and project stakeholders.
- Develop lessons learned documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure project documentation reflects warranty-related changes and updates.
Process Improvement
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce future warranty claims.
- Support development and enhancement of warranty procedures and workflows.
- Assist with creation and maintenance of warranty templates, tracking tools, and reporting systems.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, warranty administration, technical support, or related role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Experience working directly with customers and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with utility-scale solar, BESS, or renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems, networking equipment, RTACs, PLCs, or industrial control systems.
- Knowledge of warranty management processes and RMA procedures.
- Experience using project management and issue-tracking software.
- Understanding of Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, or related industrial communication protocols.
- Experience coordinating field service activities and subcontractors.

Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel to project sites as required.
- Ability to participate in remote troubleshooting sessions outside normal business hours when necessary.
