Role Summary
The SAP TM Manager leads the implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management, overseeing end-to-end project delivery from blueprinting and solution design to testing, go-live, and post-production support. The role works closely with business stakeholders to design transportation and logistics solutions, manage project streams, and lead teams delivering large-scale SAP TM implementations.
The SAP TM Consultant supports the implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management, assisting in requirements gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and post-go-live support. The role works closely with business and technical teams to deliver efficient transportation and logistics solutions aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- The SAP TM Manager is responsible for working on all phases of SAP TM (Transportation Management) implementation which includes blueprinting, gap analysis, mapping, prototypes, design, developing, testing, go-live, user training, and post-production support.
- Work in the technology organization and business representatives to determine the business process and solution design leveraging the capabilities of SAP TM
- Provide expertise in the development of best practices in SAP S/4 HANA Transportation Management
- Product and services development to augment or enhance the SAP TM and interfaced systems.
- Hands-on experience in Shipper / freight forwarder scenarios for order management, planning, carrier selection, tendering, execution, settlement, group logistics, LBN freight collaboration, LBN GTT scenarios etc.,
- Led multiple large-scale SAP TM implementations. Good to Have Skills: SAP SD Sales & Distribution and Having Technical knowledge on BRF plus, BOBF objects and PPF is an added advantage. (FOR SAP TM Manager)
- Ability to interact with the business and conduct business workshops must have good communication skills.
- Ability to plan, manage work stream independently - facilitate workshops, secure approvals from business, maintain minutes, meet quality process requirements.
- Skills in Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into Business blueprints, system design, functional specifications, and system configuration

- Should have exposure to Project Management, Resource allocation, define strategy & approach for project execution

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ up years of SAP TM experience. (FOR CONSULTANT)
- 10-14 Years of Overall SAP Exp Master Data configuration, Configuration and Customization of various TM and TRP scenarios. (For SAP TM MANAGER)
- Transportation Resource Planning (TRP)
- Writing General design, Functional Design and Use Case documents.
- Freight Order Management, Forwarding Order Management, ERP Logistics Integration, Transportation Network, Transportation Mode, Freight Agreement, Tendering
- Define integration of SAP TM with TRP, EM, ERP and Legacy applications.
- RFC Queue Management (base level understanding).
- Good to Have Skills: SAP SD Sales & Distribution and Technical knowledge on BRF plus, BOBF objects and PPF is an added advantage
