SAP SD Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Senior Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing SAP application support, troubleshooting system issues, analyzing business requirements, and maintaining SAP-related processes and interconnected systems.

The role involves working closely with clients and end users to ensure smooth system operations, resolve functional issues, and support system enhancements and improvements related to sales and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary end-user support for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and related interconnected systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve SAP SD-related issues and system incidents.
• Perform routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions, including maintaining SAP interfaces where applicable.
• Analyze existing sales and distribution business processes and gather client requirements.
• Perform SAP SD configuration based on client requests and business requirements.
• Execute system, unit, regression, and integration testing.
• Monitor and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare and document functional specifications for customized programs.
• Develop and maintain test scripts.
• Oversee pre-production activities and system cutover processes.
• Create and monitor SAP transport requests.
• Manage incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Conduct risk and impact analysis for proposed system changes and enhancement requests.
• Act as a subject matter resource in the SAP SD functional area.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the SAP domain, particularly in SAP support or application maintenance activities.
• Relevant experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Hands-on experience in SAP SD application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of sales and distribution business processes.
• Experience in business process analysis and requirements gathering.
• Knowledge of SAP SD configuration and system maintenance.
• Experience in unit, regression, system, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), transport requests, and cutover activities.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
