Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with S/4HANA expertise to support and enhance OrdertoCash (O2C) processes in an FMCG environment. This role is part of an AMS engagement, requiring strong functional ownership across SAP SD, output determination, EDI/IDoc monitoring, and close collaboration with crossfunctional and global business teams.

Primary Functional Skills – SAP SD (S/4HANA)

Order Management

  • Expert configuration of Sales Document Types, Item Categories, and Schedule Line Categories
  • Strong experience with FMCG scenarios such as Rush Orders, Returns, and Consignment

Pricing & Revenue Management

  • Deep expertise in Condition Technique
  • Configuration of Pricing Procedures, Condition Types, and Access Sequences
  • Ability to manage complex discounts, rebates, and promotional pricing

Shipping & Logistics

  • Strong functional knowledge of Delivery Processing
  • Experience with Picking & Packing logic
  • Understanding of Route Determination and Shipping Point Determination

Billing & Invoicing

  • Expert configuration of Billing Types
  • Handson experience with Copy Control
  • Processing of Credit/Debit Memos
  • Integration with FIAR (Accounts Receivable)

Master Data Management

  • Comprehensive handling of:
  • Customer Master
  • Material Master
  • Sales Area views
  • CustomerMaterial Info Records

Availability Check (ATP)

  • Functional understanding of Basic ATP
  • Knowledge of Transfer of Requirements (TOR) to ensure accurate product availability

Credit Management

  • Configuration and support of Basic Credit Management
  • Integration with Financial Accounting

Output Determination (S/4HANA)

  • Expertise in configuring output for:
  • Invoices
  • Order Confirmations
  • Shipping Labels
  • Experience using BRF+ or Condition Technique

Key Responsibilities (AMS Context)

Incident Management

  • Lead resolution of Tier2 and Tier3 SAP SD incidents
  • Ensure minimal business disruption while meeting SLAs

Change Request (CR) Management

  • Translate FMCG business requirements into Functional Specifications (FS)
  • Lead configuration, unit testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Problem Management

  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring O2C issues
  • Address issues such as pricing discrepancies or IDoc failures
  • Implement permanent functional fixes

Integration Support

  • Collaborate with MM, FI, PP, and WM teams
  • Ensure seamless endtoend integration for:
  • Stock Transfer Orders
  • 3PL logistics scenarios

EDI / IDoc Monitoring

  • Troubleshoot and resolve failures in EDI / IDoc integrations
  • Support exchanges with global retail partners:
  • Sales Orders
  • Invoices
  • ASNs

Business Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to global business users
  • Recommend SAP S/4HANA best practices to simplify sales processes and improve order fulfillment

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Fioribased sales applications
  • Basic understanding of ABAP debugging (custom exits, VOFM routines)
  • Familiarity with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) or SAP Transportation Management (TM) is an advantage
