Position Summary
We are seeking highly skilled SAP Supply Chain Management (MM/SD) Professionals responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and technical resources to deliver high-quality solutions across Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules within SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Analysis & Solution Design
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for MM and SD processes.
- Design, configure, and implement solutions in SAP MM (Procurement, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Management) and SAP SD (Order-to-Cash, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Customer Master).
- Perform configuration activities related to purchasing, MRP, inventory, sales order management, delivery processing, and integration touchpoints.
Implementation & Enhancements
- Support full-cycle implementations including blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Develop and test integrations across FI, WM, PP, and other relevant modules.
- Recommend system improvements, process automation, and best practices within SCM.
Production Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide L2/L3 support, analyze incidents, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolutions with minimal downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis and propose long-term corrective actions.
- Manage change requests and ensure compliance with change management processes.
Testing & Documentation
- Prepare and execute unit testing, integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios.
- Document functional designs, configuration settings, process flows, and training materials.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with business users, technical teams (ABAP/Fiori), and project managers.
- Communicate solution impacts, timelines, and progress to stakeholders.
- Provide end-user training and support during cutover and go-live phases.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ 10+ years experience in SAP MM or SD (or both), depending on level being hired.
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, and functional documentation.
- Knowledge of integration points with FI/CO, WM, PP, and other modules.
Preferred:
- Exposure to S/4HANA migration or greenfield projects.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Ability to debug with technical team or knowledge of basic ABAP is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
