Introduction
We are looking for an experienced SAP Application Support Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) and S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO). The role focuses on providing L2/L3 application support in a managed services environment, ensuring stable operations, accurate financial postings, and continuous improvement of JVA and Finance processes within SAP S/4HANA.
Roles and Responsibilities
S/4HANA Application Support
- Provide L2/L3 production support for SAP S/4HANA JVA and S/4HANA Finance
- Resolve incidents, service requests, and problems within agreed SLA/KPI targets
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities related to JVA and Finance
- Knowledge in Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Support SAP S/4HANA JVA processes
S/4HANA Finance & Integration
- Support end‑to‑end integration between JVA and S/4HANA Finance, including postings to: General Ledger (Universal Journal), Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, Cost Centers, Internal Orders, and Profit Centers
- Understand and support S/4HANA Finance concepts, including:Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Business Partner (BP)
- Document splitting, New Asset Accounting, Assist in financial reconciliations and validation of JVA postings in S/4HANA
Fiori & Reporting Support
- Support SAP Fiori apps related to JVA and Finance (monitoring, postings, reporting)
- Assist users with embedded analytics, CDS-based reports, and standard S/4HANA financial reports
- Coordinate with technical teams for issues related to authorizations, Fiori launchpad, and UI errors
Change, Enhancement & Testing
- Support minor enhancements, configuration changes, and functional adjustments
- Participate in regression testing, UAT support, and post‑deployment validation
- Support S/4HANA upgrades, support packs, and JVA-related fixes
Service Management & Documentation
- Work within ITIL-based AMS processes using ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in service reviews and continuous service improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Core Functional Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Joint Venture Accounting (JVA)
- Solid functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance, including:
- FI: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting
- CO: Cost Centers, Internal Orders (CO‑PA knowledge is an advantage)
- Strong understanding of JVA–Finance integration in S/4HANA
- S/4HANA Knowledge
- Practical experience working with Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Familiarity with S/4HANA simplifications and finance data model
- Experience supporting SAP Fiori and S/4HANA Finance reporting
Support & Delivery Experience
- 3–7+ years of SAP Application Support experience, preferably in an AMS environment
- Proven experience handling production issues, root cause analysis, and service delivery
- Experience working in global, multi‑country support models
Industry Experience (Preferred)
- Oil & Gas, Energy, or asset‑intensive industries
- Strong understanding of joint venture accounting and cost recovery processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related discipline
- SAP S/4HANA Finance and/or SAP JVA certification is an advantage
- ITIL certification is a plus
