Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Sales Lead to drive the design, configuration, and delivery of end-to-end Sales and Order-to-Cash (OTC) solutions within SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition transformation programs. This role is central to enabling core sales business processes — spanning lead-to-cash, order management, pricing, billing, territory management, and customer engagement — for organizations across industries adopting SAP's ready-to-run cloud ERP. The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), a strong command of SAP Activate methodology, and the ability to guide clients through fit-to-standard adoption of SAP Best Practice processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Module Ownership: Lead end-to-end ownership of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Sales scope, covering the full Order-to-Cash lifecycle — from lead creation, opportunity management, and quotation through to order fulfillment, billing, and revenue posting.
- Lead-to-Cash Process Design: Lead fit-to-standard workshops covering the complete Lead-to-Cash process, including Lead Creation, Lead Scoring, Opportunity Conversion, Opportunity Tracking, Quotation Creation and Approval, and Order Fulfillment. Ensure adoption of clean core Public Cloud principles with clearly documented gaps and extensions where required.
- Order-to-Cash Configuration: Configure and deliver core OTC capabilities including sales document types, item categories, pricing procedures, availability-to-promise (ATP), delivery scheduling, delivery processing, billing, and credit management. Manage configuration activities via SAP Central Business Configuration and SAP Fiori apps in alignment with SAP Best Practices.
- Territory Management: Design and configure territory management structures, including territory hierarchies, territory team assignments, automated realignment rules, and access restriction controls to optimize sales coverage and data visibility.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Lead client-facing fit-to-standard workshops, solution playbacks, and design decision reviews. Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and procurement processes. Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Integration Management: Manage integrations between SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Sales and adjacent solutions, including SAP Sales Cloud (lead-to-opportunity), SAP Marketing Cloud (campaign-to-lead), SAP Service Cloud (service order and billing), and Finance (Accounts Receivable, revenue recognition). Oversee integration design across SAP and non-SAP landscapes including CRM and e-commerce platforms.
- SAP Activate Methodology Adherence: Ensure adherence to SAP Activate best practices across all project phases — Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run — including fit-to-standard workshops, requirements documentation in SAP Cloud ALM, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), data migration, and hypercare.
- Analytics & Reporting: Leverage embedded SAP S/4HANA analytics and AI-based capabilities, including sales planning, predictive analytics, and AI-based sales order entry, to drive business insights and operational efficiency for clients.
- Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing: Lead and mentor a delivery team of Sales/OTC consultants. Contribute to the development of reusable delivery assets, methodology improvements, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives. Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, solution proposals, and client demonstrations.
