SAP Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, and support projects. The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for managing project scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations across the entire project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate possesses strong project management expertise, SAP implementation experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementation, migration, rollout, upgrade, and transformation projects.
• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and issues.
• Manage project governance and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and executive status reviews.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong client relationships to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising SAP Functional Consultants, Technical Consultants, Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts.
• Coordinate onshore and offshore delivery teams.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and performance support to project team members.
• Foster collaboration and accountability within the project team.

Risk & Financial Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Maintain RAID Logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, and project profitability.
• Track project expenditures and financial performance.
• Escalate critical risks and issues when necessary.

SAP Project Execution

• Oversee project phases including:
• Discover
• Design
• Build
• Test
• Deploy
• Hypercare Support
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate and project delivery methodologies.
• Support cutover planning and go-live activities.
• Ensure quality deliverables throughout all project phases.

Quality & Governance

• Establish project governance structures and reporting mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor project KPIs and success metrics.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of project management experience with at least 3 years managing SAP projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Proven experience managing global or regional enterprise projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing project budgets and resource planning.
