Job Summary
The SAP Project Manager (PM) shall be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of systems projects in the ITS Portfolio (servicing various business units). He/she will be responsible for planning, execution, control and completion of aligned deliverables and the achievement of the project's strategic objectives within a defined scope, quality, cost and schedule (including compliance requirements).
Projects to be Handled
Finance area portfolio more on SAP (FICO, MM, SD) - 60% and NON SAP- financial applications, finance project - 40%
How will you contribute
Gather business requirements for the new application or project, and coordinate the process to ensure complete and accurate capture of requirements.
Work with IT technical team to provide a robust solution to the business. Flag system impacts on other existing systems and include in the design.
Drafts the project's Business Case and Charter
Creates, defines and manages project plans/schedule/timeline
Defines Project Scope, Project Goals/Objectives and Deliverables and determines what resources are needed for the project
Works with Project teams/business organizations, primarily within the IT teams to make sure all parties are on track with the project's requirements, deadlines and schedules
Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
Facilitating change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
Aligns project objectives and ensures project team is clear on objectives. Manages stakeholders;
Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors. Presents progress, risks, issues and solutions.
Ensures quality assurance on project deliverables
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a business or IT related course, with at least 5 years experience on formal business requirement documentation, and at least 5 years of solid practical experience in project management
Proficiency in Project Management, PM Techniques and Tools, preferably with Project Management credentials (eg. PMP Certification) or equivalent
Proven leadership track record in successful systems delivery/implementation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
