Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Business Analyst with strong expertise in SAP ECC Payroll to support global payroll transformation and implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering end-to-end payroll implementations, managing country-specific payroll processes, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and serving as the primary point of contact for payroll-related issues and integrations.

This role requires strong functional payroll expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage payroll activities across multiple countries while collaborating with global teams, vendors, and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Business Analyst for SAP ECC Payroll implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Manage and support payroll processes for assigned countries and ensure compliance with local payroll requirements.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for payroll-related issues, escalations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate issue analysis, resolution tracking, and collaboration with vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Support payroll-related integrations, including Time Management and other upstream/downstream systems.
  • Independently create and execute test scenarios, test scripts, validation documents, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, payroll vendors, testing teams, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates and progress reports to the Global Payroll Product Owner and leadership teams.
  • Participate in country-level and global governance meetings, presenting project updates, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure payroll solutions align with business requirements and global payroll standards.

Mandatory Qualifications

Experience & Functional Expertise

  • Strong functional knowledge of SAP ECC Payroll with proven experience in a Business Analyst role.
  • Experience in a minimum of 3-4 end-to-end payroll implementation projects with successful delivery outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of Payroll and Time Management Integration processes.
  • Hands-on experience supporting payroll integrations and payroll-related process design.

Geographic Payroll Experience

Candidates must have hands-on payroll implementation and support experience in at least two of the following countries (experience across four or more countries is highly preferred):

  • Philippines
  • South Korea
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Singapore

Testing & Documentation

  • Ability to independently develop:
  • Test Scenarios
  • Test Scripts
  • Validation Documents
  • UAT Support Materials

Stakeholder Management

  • Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including:
  • Business users
  • Payroll vendors
  • Technical teams
  • Testing teams
  • Global payroll leadership

Communication

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with experience providing updates in country-level and global status meetings.

Ownership & Leadership

  • Ability to independently manage country-specific payroll activities.
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end deliverables and issue resolution.
  • Experience providing regular progress updates to the Global Payroll Product Owner.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in global payroll transformation programs.
  • Exposure to multi-country payroll delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in vendor management and payroll governance processes.
