What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Technical Consultant to join our team in the Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP ECC environment. This role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the SAP systems, as well as supporting system upgrades and migrations.

Responsibilities:

• System Installation and Configuration:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP ECC systems, including the database, application servers, and related components.

• Set up and configure SAP landscapes, including development, testing, and production environments.

• Manage SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations.

• System Monitoring and Performance Tuning:

• Monitor SAP systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.

• Perform regular system performance tuning and troubleshooting to address issues related to system performance.

• Implement and monitor system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

• System Upgrades and Migrations:

• Plan and execute SAP ECC system upgrades, patches, and migrations.

• Ensure the smooth transition of SAP systems during upgrades and migrations, minimizing downtime and disruption.

• Conduct compatibility checks and ensure that all custom developments and interfaces are compatible with new SAP versions.

• Security and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain SAP security policies and procedures to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Regularly review and update system security configurations to address potential vulnerabilities.

• Conduct security audits and ensure that all security patches are applied in a timely manner.

• Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide technical support to resolve SAP system issues and incidents.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and other IT teams to address system-related issues and provide technical expertise.

• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.

• Project Management and Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers to plan and execute SAP ECC BASIS projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.

• Collaborate with SAP application teams (e.g., FICO, MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration and system performance.

Qualification and Experience:

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
