SAP Functional Specialist/Manager (FICO)

Role Description The SAP Functional Specialist/Manager (FICO) is a full-time role based in Pasig. The role is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and analyzing business needs, translating them into functional specifications, performing system configuration, and coordinating testing and user acceptance. The specialist/manager collaborates closely with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to optimize processes, resolve system issues, and ensure data integrity and compliance. The role also involves documenting system changes, providing user training, and leading or supporting SAP-related projects and enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP FICO functional expertise, including configuration, integration with other SAP modules, and end-to-end process understanding.
• Solid finance and accounting knowledge (e.g., GL, AP, AR, AA, Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, budgeting and forecasting).
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and translating functional needs into system solutions.
• Proficiency in testing, issue analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation of SAP changes and configurations.
• Ability to manage projects or workstreams, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; SAP FICO certification is an advantage.
• Experience in telecom, technology, or fast-growing enterprise environments is a plus, as well as familiarity with hybrid work setups.
