SAP Functional Consultant
Job Brief:
Implements business management solutions and conducts analysis of the customer's overall business processes to recommend informed decisions for an effective and efficient project implementation. Communicates with the customer's project champions for timeline, encountered issues, and proposed solutions. Renders field work for most of the project phase.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform full implementation of the assigned solutions, interacting directly with clients and accommodating unique industry, business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business specifications
- Plan out and create the blueprints for software projects, including scoping, indicating tests & maintenance
- Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, objectives and challenges. Facilitates the workshops and interviews to gather detailed requirements
- Create functional and user documentation
- Plan and consult with client on business process improvements to configure system features/functions
- Develop and communicate client requirements with the project implementation team on potential product customizations. Work with them to build, develop, and test customized solutions.
- Conduct demos, training and walkthrough of the system process areas
- Provide post-implementation support and solve issues related to system implementation
- Communicate and collaborate with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and deliver successful implementations. Provide regular updates on project status and escalate any risks or issues as necessary
- Continuously enhance knowledge by staying up-to-date on the updates, features and industry best practices through trainings and certifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting related courses
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One (core and advanced), SAP customization, business process analysis, KPI tracking, BIR taxation, data migration, and MS Office and any ERP software
- Preferably, 6 months to a year of work experience in any standard ERP products, but fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Good analytical and planning skills
- Good grasp of business acumen
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving abilities
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams
