Role Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and deploying SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and related technologies. This role involves working closely with functional and technical teams to deliver intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces for SAP S/4HANA solutions.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development, with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong expertise in: SAPUI5 framework, Fiori Launchpad configuration, OData service consumption, CDS views and annotations.
- Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Git-based version control.
- Understanding of clean core principles, SAP BTP extensibility, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of custom SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad, including tiles, catalogs, groups, and role-based access.
- Integrate Fiori apps with OData services, CDS views, and SAP Gateway.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into user-centric UI solutions.
- Develop Fiori Elements apps using annotations and Smart Controls for rapid deployment.
- Optimize app performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and implement responsive design.
- Participate in unit testing, SIT/UAT, and code reviews.
- Document technical specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals.
- Stay updated on SAP Fiori 3.0, SAP BTP, and RISE/GROW with SAP innovations.
