Role Description The Senior SAP Finance Control Consultant contract role is a remote position responsible for leading and optimizing SAP FICO and CO-PA solutions within complex enterprise environments. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business processes, designing and configuring finance and controlling modules, and aligning SAP capabilities with client financial strategies and reporting needs. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analyses, and provide expert guidance on best practices for SAP S/4HANA and related finance solutions. Responsibilities also include supporting integration activities, troubleshooting issues, preparing functional documentation, and mentoring project team members to ensure high-quality delivery. The role is expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leverage analytical insights, and help clients maximize business value from their SAP investments.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP Finance and Controlling (SAP FICO, Finance) skills, with experience configuring and supporting core finance processes.
• Expertise in controlling and profitability analysis (CO-PA) and its integration with other SAP modules.
• Ability to analyze and optimize end-to-end Business Process flows related to finance and controlling.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA finance solutions and integration with other enterprise systems is highly beneficial.
• Proven track record in consulting, including requirement gathering, documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong remote collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to work independently across distributed teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
