Sap Finance Control Consultant

About the Role

As a Senior SAP FI/CO professional, you will provide functional support and expertise across SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).

You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, configure SAP functionalities, resolve system issues, and support system enhancements and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary end-user support for SAP FI and CO modules.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve functional and system issues.
• Analyze business processes and gather financial and controlling requirements.
• Perform SAP FI/CO configuration, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Support SAP FI functionalities, including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Support SAP CO functionalities, including:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Profit Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Prepare functional specifications for system enhancements, reports, interfaces, and custom developments.
• Coordinate with SAP ABAP developers and cross-functional teams.
• Execute unit, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Prepare test scripts and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage change requests, risk assessments, and impact analysis.
• Support deployment, cutover, and post-implementation activities.
• Monitor transport requests and ensure proper movement of configuration changes.
• Resolve client-reported incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in SAP FI/CO.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
• Solid knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and financial closing.
• Experience in SAP CO functionalities, particularly Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Experience in SAP configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and incident management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, test scripts, and technical documentation.
• Experience working with SAP ABAP developers and cross-functional teams.
