SAP FI/CO Finance Support Analyst

We are looking for a motivated SAP FI/CO Finance Support Analyst to provide functional and

technical support for SAP Finance solutions. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with

experience in SAP Finance, ERP support, or finance operations. You will be responsible for

resolving user issues, supporting financial processes, maintaining SAP Finance applications, and

delivering an excellent customer support experience through various support channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

SAP Finance Application Support

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 functional support for SAP FI/CO processes and transactions.

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues.

• Troubleshoot system errors and collaborate with technical teams for timely resolution.

• Escalate complex issues to senior SAP functional consultants when appropriate.

• Ensure support tickets are resolved within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Financial Process Support

• Support key SAP Finance modules and business processes, including:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Asset Accounting (AA)

Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

Internal Orders

Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

• Assist end users with transaction processing and issue resolution.

• Perform root cause analysis on recurring finance-related issues and recommend improvements.

Master Data & Configuration Support

• Support finance master data maintenance and validation activities.

• Assist with basic SAP FI/CO configuration changes under supervision.

• Participate in system testing, validation, and deployment activities.

• Ensure compliance with finance governance, security, and operational standards.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Support standard SAP financial reports and month-end/year-end closing activities.

• Assist with reconciliations, financial data validation, and issue investigation.

• Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and process guides.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support efficiency and user experience.

• Support user training and knowledge transfer activities.

Professional & Technical Skills

Required Skills

• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules.

• Understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.

• Experience supporting:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Asset Accounting (AA)

Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

Internal Orders

Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

• Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.

• Experience with incident management, ticketing systems, and issue resolution.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and collaboration skills.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

• Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, Procurement, or other SAP modules.

• Familiarity with testing, defect management, and change management processes.

• Understanding of month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

• SAP FI or SAP S/4HANA Finance certification or training.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and managed application support (AMS) environments.

• Background in accounting or finance operations.
