Job Description
We are seeking a motivated SAP Finance (FI/CO) Support Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide functional support, troubleshoot issues, and assist in maintaining SAP Finance solutions. This role is suitable for early-career professionals with experience in SAP Finance, ERP support, or business process support.
The role of the Support Analyst is to provide an exceptional customer experience while assisting customers with functional and technical issues through various channels such as Real-Time Chat, Phone, Internal Support Systems, and External Customer Support Platforms.
Responsibilities:
SAP Finance Application Support
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for SAP Finance (FI/CO) processes and transactions.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues.
• Analyze system errors and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to senior functional consultants when necessary.
• Ensure timely resolution of tickets in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Financial Processes Support
• Support core SAP Finance processes including:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Accounts Payable (AP)
o Accounts Receivable (AR)
o Asset Accounting (AA)
o Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
o Internal Orders
o Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Assist users in transaction processing and issue resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring finance-related issues.
Master Data and Configuration Support
• Support finance master data maintenance activities.
• Assist with basic configuration changes under supervision.
• Validate system changes and support testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with established finance and governance processes.
Reporting and Reconciliation
• Support standard SAP financial reports and month-end activities.
• Assist with data validation, reconciliations, and issue investigations.
• Analyze financial data discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support audit, compliance, and financial control activities.
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and process guides.
• Participate in problem management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes and operational efficiency.
• Support user training and knowledge transfer activities.
Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in SAP Finance support, ERP support, shared services, or finance operations.
• Exposure to SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA Finance environments is preferred.
• Experience in a customer-facing support environment is an advantage.
Technical Skills
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules.
• Understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a plus.
• Understanding of month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Experience with incident and ticket management tools.
• Familiarity with testing, defect analysis, and issue resolution processes.
• Basic understanding of SAP integration with MM, SD, and Procurement processes is an advantage.
