As a Functional Subject Matter Expert, a typical day involves ensuring that business processes are accurately reflected within the system by thoroughly validating workflows and requirements with various stakeholders. This role requires close collaboration to confirm that the implemented solutions align with operational needs, supporting seamless business functions and driving continuous improvements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Support the development and implementation of best practices within the team.
- Monitor project progress and assist in resolving any functional challenges that arise.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive environment to encourage knowledge sharing and team growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in SAP FI Asset Accounting.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Asset Management.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles related to asset management.
- Experience in configuring and supporting asset accounting modules within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into system requirements.
- Familiarity with integration points between asset accounting and other financial modules.
