Role Responsibilities
- Apply secure coding standards to ensure applications are protected from common vulnerabilities, supported by thorough code reviews for validation.
- Escalate and communicate any technical concerns that may affect project timelines or delivery to the technical architect and project manager.
- Assist in transitioning applications or system components to the testing team for validation.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve defects as well as performance-related issues discovered during testing phases.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support future system maintenance and enhancements.
- Engage in client relationship management by supporting solution delivery aligned with business and client requirements.
- Design, build, and configure software solutions across the full development lifecycle—from requirement analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, or within specific project phases.
- Conduct unit and component testing to ensure functionality meets design specifications.
- Participate in integration testing activities to validate system interoperability.
- Provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure business requirements are met.
- Assist in deployment preparation and go-live activities.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Minimum of 6 months hands-on experience with SAP Suite on HANA (SoH) or SAP S/4HANA, or exposure to SAP upgrade projects such as Unicode conversion, SPAU/SPDD adjustments, Basis upgrade support, or functional testing.
- Strong experience in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including NW 7.5 capabilities.
- Strong commitment to delivering high-quality outputs within deadlines, with a customer-focused and proactive mindset.
- Familiarity with SAP development standards, cloud best practices, and coding guidelines within SAP environments.
