Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant Lead (Finance) to drive finance-focused data migration activities within SAP cloud implementations. This role will lead end-to-end data migration efforts, contribute functional expertise in SAP FICO, and ensure successful delivery of project milestones in alignment with established project methodologies.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in SAP public cloud implementations, particularly within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, and can confidently lead workshops, solution discussions, and system configuration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute project implementation activities in accordance with the organization's established project management and delivery methodology.
- Deliver all required outputs and documentation as defined in the project charter and statement of work.
- Participate in all required project meetings, whether onsite or virtual.
- Facilitate and lead Fit-to-Standard workshops during the Explore phase of implementation.
- Present and justify proposed solutions based on functional expertise and best practices.
- Follow prescribed documentation standards and templates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Configure, test, and document SAP finance solutions and related data migration processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise in SAP Finance and data migration throughout all phases of implementation.
- Support the setup and activation of relevant SAP Fiori applications within the assigned functional scope.
- Contribute to the preparation and management of WRICEF objects, particularly interface-related developments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and data migration projects.
- Proven experience implementing SAP public cloud solutions using the SAP Activate methodology.
- Strong background in full end-to-end SAP cloud implementations.
- Experience using SAP Cloud ALM is required.
- Prior SAP implementation experience within a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment is mandatory.
- Experience preparing and managing SAP WRICEF objects, especially interface components.
- SAP certification in relevant cloud finance solutions is an advantage.
- Ability to independently lead workshops, provide solution recommendations, and engage stakeholders effectively.
