SAP CPI & APIM Developer, Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI & APIM Developer to design, build, and support enterprise integration and API solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud integration scenarios, API management, and security frameworks, ensuring seamless connectivity across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement integration flows in SAP CPI following SAP Clean Core guidelines.
- Build resilient and scalable integrations with robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and monitoring capabilities.
- Develop and manage API proxies, products, and advanced policies in SAP API Management.
- Implement Groovy/JavaScript scripting for transformations, validations, and performance optimization.
- Integrate event-driven scenarios using SAP Event Mesh.
- Ensure API-first design principles with high security (OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT, Certificates).
- Collaborate with architects to ensure performance-resilient and cloud-compliant designs.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor integration flows and APIs for high availability and performance.
Qualifications:
- 5 8 years of experience in SAP CPI & APIM Development
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI integration development.
- Proven expertise in SAP API Management policies (throttling, quota, security, traffic management).
- Solid experience with Groovy scripting for advanced integration logic.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and SAP Event Mesh integration patterns.
- Familiarity with SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility best practices.
- Proficiency in integration technologies (REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JSON, XML, XSLT).
- Strong knowledge of security standards (OAuth2.0, SAML, SSL, API Keys, Certificates).
- Good communication and collaboration skills in multi-team environments.
