We are looking for an experienced
SAP CPI & API Management Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). In this role, you will build scalable integration services and API solutions that enable seamless connectivity between SAP and third-party applications while ensuring security, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Build scalable and resilient integration solutions with proper error handling, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms.
- Develop and manage APIs, including API proxies, products, and policies using SAP API Management.
- Create custom logic and transformations using Groovy and JavaScript.
- Develop event-driven integration solutions using SAP Event Mesh.
- Apply API-first design principles while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver high-quality, cloud-based integration solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration processes and APIs for performance and reliability.
- Document integration designs, configurations, and technical solutions following established standards.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in SAP integration development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Strong experience in SAP API Management, including API policies such as security, throttling, quotas, and traffic management.
- Proficiency in Groovy scripting for complex integration logic and data transformation.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and SAP Event Mesh.
- Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility best practices.
- Experience with integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, SFTP, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
- Strong understanding of API and integration security, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSL/TLS, API Keys, JWT, and certificates.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for SAP integration projects.
- Ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise integration solutions.
