SAP CO IT Consultant

About the Role

Location: BGC, Taguig City
Work Setup: Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO IT Consultant to support and drive strategic Accounting & Controlling technology initiatives within a global environment. This role is responsible for leading SAP CO-related projects, managing application services, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP Controlling expertise with project management experience and a solid understanding of finance processes and analytics solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Delivery

• Lead and deliver IT projects focused on Accounting & Controlling systems, particularly SAP solutions

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution

• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle

• Support project forecasting, budgeting, purchasing activities, and financial tracking

SAP CO & Business Systems Support

• Provide expertise in SAP Accounting & Controlling processes and solutions

• Manage system enhancements, change requests, and ongoing application services

• Ensure stable system operations and alignment with business requirements

• Support solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities

Governance & Operational Excellence

• Maintain technical and functional documentation to support system stability and compliance

• Ensure adherence to IT standards, governance frameworks, and quality requirements

• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization

Continuous Improvement

• Drive process improvements through structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis

• Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams

• Collaborate with global stakeholders to standardize processes and improve operational efficiency

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field

• Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience

• At least 4 years of hands-on SAP CO (Controlling) experience

• Strong expertise in SAP Accounting & Controlling

• Experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud

• Strong understanding of finance, controlling, and business process integration

• Experience working with international and cross-cultural teams

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Must-Have Skills

• IT Project Management experience involving both vendors and internal teams

• Strong understanding of Accounting & Controlling business processes

• Hands-on experience with SAP CO

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project workstreams simultaneously

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience supporting global SAP implementations or transformation projects

• SAP S/4HANA Finance exposure

• Knowledge of financial reporting and planning solutions

• SAP certification in Finance, Controlling, or related modules
